Another possible suggestion would be a price history/forecasting tool. Basically when you click 'remove' for an item, it asks you how much you sold it for. This can be answered, or declined, then the item is removed. Then it takes that information and plugs it into the database creating a graph, with averages historically and a projected pricepoint going into the future based on previous datapoints.

reading back into that, that might be a long shot but figured i might mention it!

Yea I can easily store and create a formula based on what people are selling / offering for specific items.

I kind of see what you mean.. I could make the search show the items with stats like I mentioned above.. and below put who is actually selling/buying it..

So I am thinking when you search an item, right now if no one is selling/buying it, it says "No results"... but now I could show the item and some stats like I mentioned above... average offer/sell price and cool stuff like that.

Also I guess some shit is bugging out on IE... please be a human and use FireFox or Chrome! I am on a Mac and can't really test it out on the shitty browser.. (nor do I want to...)

Search yields:
1) Stats taken form wiki (Always)
2) Historical/forecasting data with averages (Always)
3) Results of current WTB/WTS (If available)

Seems like the tablesorter.js isn't too compatible with IE...

I like the ability of being able to sort the tables.. trying to look for a fix.

Seems a couple of people are confused and PMing me items to add to their WTB/WTS list...

I meant for people to PM if they tried to add items to their WTB/WTS list and it wasn't in the global database to be added..

If you want to add items to your WTB/WTS list, simply create an account, click the manage tab after you log in... start typing an item's name and select the item you want.

Pick if you WTB/WTS and which server... and add the item, very easy [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I like it.

Some feedback:

Don't make me select WTS/WTB. Just sort it by sellers and buyers, that way i can just search an item. Chances are if I WTS/WTB something I'll be interested in seeing what people are paying and waht people are trying to get anyways.

Have Red/Blue be a preference that is set and persists.

When I want to search, I want to just type in the name of the item and press Enter. Too much selection causes the tool to become too clunky.

Sleek otherwise.

Soon, there will be apps that allows people to track mobs and people will say "Hey just like rangers but it skips a step!"

Soon, there will be raid mob alerts, which falls under the tracking thing said above but hey, if an entire guild gets an alert its just like batphoning, just skips a step!

Soon, there will be a LFG app, just because they removed /who all lfg shouldnt bother you all, this just skips steps on sending people tells and asking them if they want to join or not, this just skips more steps, ohohoh and add a "waiting list" feature. you can use your phone, put yourself lfg and you can be playing Skyrim touching yourself to your barbies and you can get a little ring saying "Spot available!"

Soon, there will be a <Dial a Service> app, want clarity for your group in mistmoore? theres an app for that! want rezzes for your group because derp or derp or even herp? theres an app for that!

This shit has got to stop someplace.. but the weird thing is, most of you reading my forecoming doom think its cool, but hey, youll just be playing World of Warcraft with a different skin and thats what we all came here for... right?

Typically you should design your UI for the majority of your players. I think *most* people only play red or blue (given that red has 1/5 or less the population). Adding extra steps to 80% of your users for 20% user benefit is not a net win.

I understand your intention, though. I am a developer by trade and I always think 'but it's so easy and it is more flexible/extensible!'. Then my designer comes in and tells me to 'keep it simple, stupid'.
