Marijuana is a fucking drug. It alters your mind when introduced to heat. If you were to eat marijuana without somehow heating it beforehand or anything, you will not feel the effects(edibles etc all need to be baked or cooked in some fashion, you can't just stuff nugs in brownies obviously). Marijuana will get you high by eating it, just not as much as smoking it. The THC levels in marijuana need oil or fat cells to basically combine with to cause you any effect, and any oils in your stomach or after, will cause the effects (not desired but what) you are looking for.

So the only point you proved me wrong is that marijuana needs heat to get you high. That doesn't disprove that is still a drug. Just like cocaine and heroin.

I wasn't trying to prove you wrong on whether it is a drug or not. I believe it is both a drug, and a plant. A pretty harmless one aside from against someone's wallet or temporarily against their freedom (hoping this gets changed for a lot of people soon).
