Nothing as trivialized as much of p99 as chardok AoE. How the staff felt Ivandyr's Hoop warranted a non-classic nerf but chardok AoE does not, makes no sense to me.

Chardok AoE is classic. It's just that Internet/computers can handle 120 mob trains on this server. Whereas classic AOEs were like 30-40 mobs.

I'm pretty sure classic AOE was limited in mobs not just due to graphics/connections but because it was used for exp so you were limited to pulls that 2-3 sub 60 enc, 2-3 sub 60 nukers could handle. All of these out of group lvl 60s selling plvls allow pulls to reach over 100.

Did people not play during shadows of luclin? I mean in AC or whatever it was on live there was TONS of 100+ pull AEing going on.

Luclin is rather distinctly not Kunark era, hell it is explicitly beyond the timeline of this "classic = stop with the Velious expansion" server. Luclin wasn't even the same game engine (i.e. client) as original/Kunark/Velious. There were a fair few people who literally had to replace their PCs to run the dx7 client (not to run it well, to run it at all.) | |||
