Wow Rigi I remember you! Wasn't Lirpa the guild leader for Harbingers? I think I may have been on a raid or 2 with you guys. Plane of Hate if I remember right. You were one of the guilds I remember with a dkp like system?

I played as Celedor (a ranger) on Karana from just after Luclin until EQ2 was released. For most of that time I was in Watchers of the Night.

When EQ2 was released most of our guild moved to EQ2 so I followed. It was too bad because I loved the Karana server, it was very friendly. That and I much preferred EQ to EQ2.

I played a dark elf enchanter (Joyelle) on Karana. Was in Peacekeepers and joined Valoran around the time they were raiding NToV with Grey Hawke and ended up transferring with the guild to Maelin Starpyre when the server opened (somewhere mid-PoP). We raided regularly there until about Serpent's Spine expansion when i think the majority got burned out and quit. Good to see some names i recognize from forever ago. Wow somehow I missed this thread...

I played on Karana from Kunark through PoP. I was in Resurgence, then Paralax, then Nightbane. I think I was even officer and co-leader of Nightbane towards the end. Oh right, my name was Aerah, wood elf rogue.

And the KGOC was horrible. It stunted progression on the server and completely ruined the high end economy. Sure it was nice for all the middling guilds/alliances who thought they had a right to try Severilous or Trak, but could you imagine trying to get into VP if Trak had a 24 guild rotation? No, because those middling guilds/alliances didn't even know VP existed. Not to mention that the planar gods were also on a rotation and it normally didn't line up with the night you had that plane, so you had to wait for the other guild to clear the plane before you could start killing the CT/Inny.

Rant off. Karana was boss. I learned how to curse in french.

Karana here too. I played all the way to LDoN and some into that. Doubt anyone remembers me but you never know. I'd say something that may spark a memory is I used to run PUG BoT raids all the time! Every time he popped people would message me to run one. I did it on two characters my tank and my druid.

I knew quite a few Grey Hawke Players. I don't remember too many players but I remember I raided with a guild called NR....Nocturnal Reine or something like that.... Been so long now.
