GFay is the most easiest place to level up to 12 fast. This is all about Orcs and Belts.
I solo leveled my mage in Gfay up to 12. Yes, the orcs in front of CB entrance were owned and gave me experience even at level 11. I had a plethora of belts saved up to turn in and get me 12. After that I went in to CB and got up to 14 by killing and turning in belts and pads, then I went to Befallen until 20.
