I see a foundation coming from symmetry, not chaos. Chaos never does anything good, that's why it's chaos. Just like this topic, it's about chaos, and it's obvious consequences though some be in denial just the same, but changes nothing. Order is more apparent than most realize, just as many of those mathematicians are beginning to realize and are startled, and quantum theorists. Chaos is just an impossibility. And too, much like humans, the animal species are dying off as I mentioned, and at an alarming rate in fact.

Prob is this goes against the religion of Darwinian macro-evolution (neo-darwinism), so it gets a hush-hush with little to no funding, or more like a landmine. I'm not saying there are only two options of that matter, there are a number of theories outside of Neo-Darwinism. But that has the corner on the ((($cience))) market, with all it's splendid pope hats and exalted cardinals.
