Don't volunteer for a job you're not willing to do properly. Doctor's Without Boarders doesn't show up to disaster areas and tell distraught family members of injured people to settle down because they're just volunteers.
I don't know OP or whether or not he was being a dick in BB, but the whole "we're volunteers" as a blanket excuse for shitty customer service has literally been an issue on this server for years. Back when Rogean was running the show he actually provided quality customer service and only broke out the metaphorical stick when the carrot didn't work. It seems a lot of staff since then have cared more about asserting their control than actually resolving disputes and making the server a better place. I'm not trying to staff bash, but the zero tolerance policy for questioning staff decisions has resulted in zero accountability and overall worse support from the staff.
If you're going to constantly bitch about being a volunteer, maybe you should quit volunteering. The server could honestly do with less nannying from GMs imo. The way the staff have inserted themselves into the raid scene with all this running for FTE and a rule set that rivals the US IRS codes has made the jokes about EQ lawyers more true than they should be, and reduced the fun or raiding overall imo.

After my entire time playing here, My experience with customer service was actually decent, but i've heard about a-lot of problems with how the staff runs things, they seem to be pretty rude on the forums as well. I remember overhearing about the owner of the server being platlord or whatever as well. Probably just people stirring up crap. But that would be an amazing front, specially since people seem to not want to actually earn there gear. But sadly this seems to be the norm for customer service, specially if its customer service out of someone based in america. Terrible attitudes is all. They probably are just un-happy in there life so they come to the p99 field to throw people around to feel better. God knows.
But looks like the scene hasn't changed much. Will check back in a while to see if things are smoother. Hope velious is fun for everyone!
