Been my experience too. ^

Tried COM over years time, with multiple different toons, it's the same experience every time. Average or slow XP gains.

Only time I felt it was "ok" XP was when we had a crazy monk pulling everything and anything possible, and even at that frenetic pace and me (the cleric) running out of mana, the XP proved to be average at best.

The only good thing about COM is it's always busy.

If you believe low 40s CoM exp is roughly equivalent (timewise) to 59 then well just have to agree to disagree because that seems impossible to me.

There are several high-risk zones where you can certainly do better exp but for the average player if you factor in travel, wait time, and lack of services, CoM is the best grouping option.

Some of this is just personal preference. Around level 43 I left CoM to try yetis and KC wall in DL and I found wall to be awful and yetis clearly slower and more risky than CoM.

Exp is flying in CC, just hit 43.

Moved into geos and they have a good chance to drop some gems that sell for 19-170plat so been making some monies as well. I would recommend CC to just about anyone. however, the run there can be rough if ya die there so FD or bind outside a good plus.

My next adventure will probably be solB? at 45? Or what other suggestions does everyone have?

Is CC Crystalline Caverns?

Just took my 40 druid to DL lastnight and gotta say that the yetis were definitely easier and more xp than the stuff in OT. Wouldn't mind a grouping option though other than CoM.

Ah, I thought so, thanks for the clarification. Is this zone pretty popular? I honestly haven't ever been to it. I've done very little in Velious lands short of velkator's with my cleric.

Its hit or miss. Most I have seen is around 14 people. Generally there are like 3-5 people here. Usually someone farming the orcs for velium and vendor garbage and then one of the 3 hallways.

-One being the tentacle terrors (these things suck they hit hard for their level)
-Two being the spider hallways (much easier critters to kill but the poison can cause some issues)
-Three being the geos (little tanky hit about as hard as the terrors, but less often. But GEM lewts from the named sell for 19-160 plat to the vendors)

The zone can be pretty dangerous if you agro a velium crawlers as their pathing sucks and the swim the underwater tunnel bringing their friends instead of climbing up a 3inch shore(giggty).

Its a cool zone and feels like you are starting a new toon and fighting right outside of the town for exps.

Sorry, but you’re wrong. . Assuming some moderate level of twinkage, CoM trio at stables was easily some of the best exp I’ve ever gotten in the game. I did 42-47 in a day, we still talk about it a few years later. Was my rogue, a shaman tanking, and a cleric. You really get screwed on blue by having more than 2-3 people in a group. You just simply can’t kill fast enough to make it worthwhile xp 99% of the time. Stables is lower level so they die faster and you can still pull from CY. It’s not about the zones. It’s about the right makeup with skilled players playing their class how they should be played.

I did something like 36-40 in under 4 hours on my ranger at the bottom of CC. It's good XP. I did have an out of group 45 monk FD dpsing and an out of group 45 druid keeping ds/regen/heals on me.
