If there was a "magic switch" that disabled all active IP exemptions for 30 minutes at peak hour I wonder what the comparative EC population would be. Fairly sure I'd never find out, but it would be interesting to see whether that theory turns out to be pure tinfoil or real.

I did know someone in an old guild doing it but that's 5 year old data.

It’s funny how many people talk about how Luclin sucks and that the AH is one of the reasons yet then they come and box on P99 like that’s not essentially the same concept

As far as EC boxing goes..

Wouldnt it be fairly easy to link all the people with IP exemptions that also sit in EC all day while their "best bro" is raiding?

Seems like if this were actually an issue the staff that has gone to far greater lengths to ban hundreds of people would take pleasure in this one.

So Im not sure if I am putting aside my tinfiol hat for this one.

If you're using a vpn and 2 seperate computers I'd reckon it's fairly hard to track. Derabul used to bitch because there was a Red player whom he knew was 100% boxing but could always pass the test so he couldn't do anything

Problem is it's not just IP exemptions it's cell phone hotspots and the like which are fast, stable, and ubiquitous now.

How would he pass a test that requires you to be doing different movements with two different characters at one time? AFAIK the test is deliberately designed so one person wouldn’t be able to do it. Sounds like that psycho Derabul was just pissed because he was wrong

I’m always baffled by the overwhelming amount of people I meet who don’t know what a VPN is or how easy they are to use. My 76 year old dad who can barely turn a computer on still uses a VPN because he watches Alex Jones and it’s made him paranoid AF. My ex-girlfriend who has never played a video game in her entire life uses a VPN to keep from having her bandwidth throttled. So does my little sister.

In 2020 a VPN is not this complicated or mysterious thing. Using a VPN is easier than using a Discord (by a long shot) — you literally just install it and wool an. If you want to get fancy you can click on different geographical locations. It’s a very simple program.
