Using anon is actually a good strategy and always will be, especially for high lvl raiding guilds. The nubs will never comprehend that because well they are obviously inferior. Why would they want you to know where they are, especially when they can have an advantage over you gear wise? And furthermore, if they don't want you to know where they are, that's their prerogative. Cry more noobs.

The only real reason I can think of for RP/Anon (and i never use either) is because of players who plan poorly or play (and surround themselves with those who also play) poorly. Nobody (unless they are offering the services) wants to get spammed with:

need a port to <insert zone here>
need a rez in <insert zone here>
can you come to <insert city here> and bind me?
can you come to <insert zone here> and track for me?
will you summon me 2345623952836446 stacks of bandages?
NEED SOW!!!!
NEED DS!!!!
etc.

No, I'm not an elitist. No, I'm not saying that someone sucks because they need help with something once in a while...but if I see your carcass 30 places in a zone, you have problems that are not everyone else's burden to share. If you're a lvl 1 gnome looking for a port across the world, you don't have any business being over there yet.

I know that people going /anon causes me to spam more.

If I /who all cleric 49 50 and there are 5 on and 4 are anon and I am trying to find a res, I have no clue what zone the 4 anon clerics are in. So, ill send them a message to see where they are or if they can res me.

If I do a /who all cleric 49 50 and none of the 5 are anon, and none of them are near where my corpse is, then I don't bother any of them!

It's really stupid to go /anon or /rp on this server for the reason that "tired of getting requests for res's/ports/corpse summons/etc".

This is a small server, you will be found and you will be begged.

Just ignore the /tells and keep playing. Ya bunch of scared babies.
