Yeah I am totally lying. That's why I am playing on the server. Maybe get a catscan bro you might be a fucking retard.
Played blue box anyway all Summer. Quite frankly the number of inconsiderate dickheads, jerks, basement dwelling dregs of society and straight up losers outnumbers the amount that are playing on red99. On blue you had bards that would KS mobs and kite entire zones screwing over anyone else in the zone, people that actually answer a cell phone call at 4am to kill a raid mob with variance, people that will wait till you clear to a camp then walk right past you and steal it, etc. List goes on and on. On red people troll and grief, maybe bind camp. The majority of the playerbase isn't nearly half as shitty or brain dead as what I encountered on p99 though.

You could have saved yourself the mouth-breathing outrage at me and just said "I was mistaken." Because it's obvious you weren't trolling. For everything except raid mobs, blue is more compatible with decent people being a part of its population. So it depends on your playstyle. I for one would not wish the trek from 1-50/60 in pvp on any player who doesn't have a veritable posse of skilled players to roll with. It was bad enough in vanilla wow when the classes were somewhat balanced. EQ PvP promises to be a massive grief-fest - but hey, some people like to play that kind of game, i.e. to grief and be griefed. That's cool. But don't kid yourself, that while you're griefing others and they're griefing you and you're waving around your e-peen about how many ganks you can pull off, and how stupid or useless of a person that guy was that you just killed is, or how awesome you are at pvp and no one else can compare to you...Or otherwise assigning some kind of real value to the fact that you beat someone in pvp... That somehow you're more laid back and relaxed about just having a good time than blue players who choose not to worry about raid mobs that they'd have to poopsock or be on batphone alert to kill. Because there are far more of them on blue than the jackasses on red who play strictly so they can grief people with crappier gear or who chose weaker pvp classes.

Considering the Red Server is losing population now and the blue is gaining back slightly its lost population I think your mistaken.

It's been a little over 2 weeks. Who cares? No shit it was going to lose players, most people here are lifetime bluebies. Which is whatever I don't care, but if you've never played on a red server it's realistically not going to hold your interest.
You guys talk like the population will eventually drop to zero. Don't worry it won't.

People like EverQuest because it's challenging. If you don't like difficulty, time sinks, and frustrating game play, then you're not reading this because you're too busy running dailies on WoW.
I'm a fan of both pve and pvp, but that challenge has to remain at the high end. Once you hit 60 on this server, what is there to do? Take turns holding hands with rival guilds and randoming for content? No thank you, that's not EverQuest. P99 was fun for a short-lived month or two when there was actual racing to content and contention. Now the server has turned into WoW, only with shittier graphics and waiting to take your turn on raid content instead of just doing it in instances. The solution is PvP. If I deserve Nagafen more than your guild, it's because we out-played you. No GM play nice bullshit to ruin the challenge that's inherent in this game. You know that rush you get when you beat another guild to Cazic Thule? Imagine that after a half an hour long pvp battle across the Plane of Fear where you had to exert your control of the zone versus a rival guild. It makes even that damn piccolo seem well-earned (I guess). That "I dun good" rush you experience in EQ is amplified in PvP. And that about sums up why people prefer PvP to PvE. You're playing the game for the challenge, might as well ramp things up a bit. Red99 has just as terrible of a player base as Blue. In fact, it may be a bit better considering the only kind of people who will hang are those who excel at the game (generally people with a higher intelligence). If you don't like random players/guilds, don't group/play with them. On Blue your best option is /ignore. On Red99 at least you can get some satisfaction out of killing people you dislike.

It takes a special sort of person to play EQ pvp. We're all ruthless, mean and (yes) even sadistic. Hide your grandparents before we sacrifice them.
