Yeah I've no desire to level again. Getting ganked sucked at times but every once and a while I fireblast a horde and feel better

1700ish players on a small 30min window on a Sunday, def shows interest imo.

Whatever happens, I'm 100% moving to the new server. Only have a handful of mid 20's so its not like releveling will be an issue.

Getting 1 shot by 60's in 15-25 contested zones is kinda silly. I'd be totally fine with it if it had a r99 style "out of range" ruleset and I was getting ganked by a small raiding party of Hordies around my level but that is never the case... its always slightly geared 60's. If that is normal for a wow pvp realm then I'll be tattooing "carebear4life" on my arse later today.

I also liked stranglethorn vale on retail, but no interest in going to a zone lovely referred too as STVietnam.

Just started on Nost horde 2 days ago, only 12. Can anyone tell me how the lvl 60 AB and WSG scene is? Nost forums/reddit suggests that it is a shitshow, pug vs pug games never happen, and that it is usually 10v3 pre-made vs pug or something along those lines. I'm afraid to invest time to lvl to 60 if the bracket is as bad as people are saying. Someone give me some hope =P

Can't speak of such things personally but guildies have bitched about a few 12hr+ AV matches.

Pvp server is.. tough. That's the best way to describe it. If you go to a heavily contested zone, you will be harassed constantly. Constantly. Not letting you do anything, will kill you over and over. Corpse camping without good reason is blatant harassment. If you politely ask them to stop on another toon, the response is usually 'lol get rekt fgt.' And of course, the server is not at all policed. People can do whatever the hell they want. This of course includes killing flightmasters constantly, and mind controlling people off of boats, and cliffs.

So, yeah. I'm getting the fuck out of this hellhole. People being assholes for no reason to people isn't my idea of fun. Yeah, it's gonna suck to start over again, but will be worth it.

60 Warrior on horde here (prot spec). Thorg is the name if you ever need a tank though I play pretty casually.

BG's are pretty terrible, but that's because most of the people doing them are there solely to get items for pve and have no real interest in pvp. They simply want the honor or rep as fast as possible.

I played 1-60 as a warrior (worst solo pvp class in the game) and it was a breeze. You spawn a maximum of a five minute run to your corpse (usually a lot less) and you cannot be damaged until you decide to rez. And if that is too much to handle you can simply rez at the spirit healer and hearth/run somewhere else. There are so many zones in this game, and grinding is just as good xp as questing, if not better. If you can't handle that, please do roll on a pve server because you will probably be the guy in a 5 man who makes my life hell due to not having a clue.

On leave from work due to recuperating from a minor medical procedure, so a lot of the time I haven't been sleeping has been spent playing WOW.

Good lord! I'm immersed! Finally logged off and went to bed sometime past 03:00, after a mammoth group session doing a bunch of quests in Noladaar (Night-Elf area). Grouped with a fellow Brit, a US player, and a Venezuelan couple and had an absolute blast doing quest / group content.

Started again early afternoon and grouped with a Belgium and another player, to assist them with the group quest that I completed before I went to sleep, and ended up doing a bunch of other quests with them. The Brit I met from the night before joined, as did the US player (briefly). Also ran into the Venezuelan couple.

Now at 12th level, and am going for a Prot Warrior spec (7/5/31). Not thinking about PvP at this stage as I have so much to learn. Priority is key-bindings for different abilities and stances.

Really looking forward towards 5 Player Dungeon runs! Not to mention, getting rolled by Horde once I venture to contested zones.

Hot tip - don't spec prot until 60. Go arms for leveling. All you are doing is gimping yourself.
