I have heard the 'low powered' argument before regarding the Danish study. It's ridiculous. They had 6000 volunteers! Their primary problem was that COVID is so mild. And in any case, the onus is on the people who want everyone to wear masks to prove they work. Have you noticed that none of the $billions are going to such studies?
Are you suggesting that Denmark's samfundssind was some kind of gigantic faith healing? Based on your quote the US does not social distance less than Denmark. To be honest, based on your last few posts I am beginning to wonder if you actually understand the scientific method, i.e. what makes something science vs not. You are of course in good company there! But I hope you can continue this conversation with your own words rather than merely Quote:

There is a reason why there was such a high infection/death rate inside Nursing "Homes" Not to mention the mortality rate is 0.13% You're just a mask preacher on a street corner trying to smugly tell other people what to do. Shame on you.

Think about all the infections / cases that go completely unreported. Couple that with the people that really died of cancer / heart attack / stroke / etc but tested positive for covid so wound up a covid death. Real mortality rate is prob less than 0.05%

In March 2020, during the peak of the COVID hysteria, Fauci guessed around 0.1%.

Also, in certain restaurants male patrons are still required to wear a jacket. Other establishments have lower expectations, but ones that are still enforced—"No shoes, no shirt, no service." Quote:
Culture influences behavior and vice versa. Having to suddenly alter one's personal habits and family traditions is a form of culture shock. Certain parts of the world's population experienced this to a lesser extent based, in part, on their cultural norms, their national policies, and their immediate relationships. For example, those within the cystic fibrosis community were already social distancing. If a word or phrase serves to reinforce certain behaviors, that is not in the same category as faith healing. Let's not confuse secular pledges with religious practices. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penalty_(Mormonism) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affirmations_(New_Age) Quote:

Thats acceptable to you? 1% would be... drum roll. 3.6 million people.
3.6 million. Is more than acceptable to you. It could be 36 million dead. You wouldnt care. As long as you can point to something else and say "but obama! benghazi! they stole 2020!" what does it matter? Why even pretend you care?? You dont. Bad is only bad when a democrat does it. If we got 7 billion people gobally, 1% would be 70,000,000 people. More than the number of people who died in WWII. You throw out these numbers like it makes it all go away. Thats a shitload of funerals, moving companies, hospital bills, and everything else that comes with a death in the family. That ripple is acceptable to you. Just say it.. Imagine how many families are being ripped apart now because there is always one in the bunch who says "i deserve all of what was left" and there was no will left, due to the whole dying all the sudden. That is acceptable to you. How many people are not talking to their brother or sister because mom died and they became greedy as fuck or cheated the rest of the family??
