Yes and no. The violence imposed by the will of BLM is borne of being Actually and Demonstrably deplatformed. The implied threat of violence by the right is a response to the perceived threat of being platformed.

One is a response to absolutes. The other is a threatened response to the threat of absolutes.

Both are equally proportional to actuality.

I think it's wrong to say that the riot at the capitol had intent, I think it was just a mob doing what a mob does and though some people had intent to overturn the election, others just wanted anarchy, others wanted to go protest, but like the mostly peaceful protests before it, it became a riot.

It didn't go beyond the 100 days of mostly peaceful protests that led up to it, or any other countries protests have gone in the last 4 or 5 years by a long shot.
