![]() Yo bitches. I have a fragment of a song lyric in my deep distant memory.
I think its a bald white man. Rattling off protest type lyrics, one of the lines is the skeleton _____. The ______ part of the lyric changes to reflect his objection to a certain object/concept/political view. Not very well known, quite niche. American i think. 80's when i was formative. So 82 - 86 maybe. Possibly earlier. Im a video clip child so it may have had a cartoonish skeleton as part of the vid. Drugs alcohol and time have both dulled and destroyed my memory. Please help if you can. Taunting also welcome. I deserve it.

![]() Based on your description, it sounds like you might be thinking of the song "Skeletons" by The Stranglers. The song was released in 1986 and features a bald man (lead singer Hugh Cornwell) with protest-like lyrics.
asked AI and it invented a song by the Stranglers that doesn't exist. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

![]() As an addon, this song is kinds like Im an Asshole in that it has some spoken parts and while Im an Asshole is funny and true this is more tragic and true. A commentary on the (then) current socio-polical landscape.
It is fucking driving me crazy(er). Ekco: It is not the stranglers but thanks for getting me to relive a few of the better mondegreens of the past. Ya better watch out for the string beans...
