I played Day Z about ~1.5 months ago and I remember lag and general buggyness being huge issues. Not to mention the constant issues entering games for inexplicable reasons, only fixed by 'updating the files' repeatedly through Steam.

Hopefully the standalone is just the mod DayZ without the buggy Arma 2 client.

IB gives you an encryption card used for your account anyways that you need to verify with everytime you login. Unless he had that turned off, I always used it but I'm paranoid. IB is pretty good about security, the U number wouldn't really help you pull anything out since you would need to log in or verify identity for withdrawals.

Yeah, he's right. I hastily hid some of the acct info but its impossible for you to use it, or even glean the login from it. I keep the security card on my person, so you'd have to come meet me face to face to get at my wealth.

IB isn't just pretty good about security, nobody who reads these boards has any modicum of a chance of ever hacking anything about this.

The U number simply identifies that I'm a real user with real USD, not a SIM trader.
