Most of these guys in Rampage got their loot (their number one priority), 10th rings, legacy ST items and are now leaving the server. Most Rampage don't have 10th rings, and I'm guessing most their core never will. "Most Rampage" in general didn't get the loot they wanted, only those that had high dkp going into Velious....it really is a handful of people. Hoku didn't even have the best monk weapon to give you an idea.

This is a full on defeat. Nothing less. Rampage successfully defeated. They didn't just leave because they are bored. There is zero chance the sleeper would be awoken if FA wasn't clearly beating them in NToV. Can't you see this is a face-saving measure?

I like the rest of your post and I didn't mean to solo you out. But I see this kind of thinking a lot with more casual guilds. Trust me, there aren't any people with 3 BiS characters or any of that nonsense. In fact, I wonder if anyone has pure BiS now (many classes would need an essence item for one). It takes a long time to gear in this game.

1300 people at peak weekend hours is as much as you ever needed for a velious era server and far more actual bodies than are probably logged in on a live server these days. Although I don't know how many live servers are left. Saw a video of a guy boxing dozens of characters in an otherwise empty zone....How is that mostly empty world full of deprecated and or watered down content? Are the in game transactions nice? Is the lack of interaction with other humans an immersive experience?

i wouldnt know. Phinny has a healthy population. you cant buy anything except potions from the market on phinny. groups on phinny are made up of real actual people (possibly some out of group boxing for buffs and added dps). every decent xp zone is packed enough there are multiple instances of it with 30 people each in them (unrest, both guks, naggys lair, oot, mm etc) every single night people are raiding and killing bosses.....without being complete and utter shitbags to each other. novel concept i know but try it sometime, you might find it feels right.
