Normal inflation levels are about 2%

Food at home is up 3% over the course of the year. There is actually deflation in dairy products -- but there is 8% inflation on meat eggs and poultry. At least part of this is due to supply chain issues. We are actually in a bit of shipping crisis -- but the elites think its too boring and technical of a story for most people.

Rent is up 3.2%. Rent is expensive but this is hardly something new caused by the pandemic or the response. I'm not going to bother getting numbers on college, because its the same story.

Energy is clearly the big source of recent inflation.

New Quinnipac poll out today. Biden is sitting at a 38% approval rating, meaning he is currently less approved of by people in the US than Trump's rating over his term. It doesn't look like the American public is buying what what Juris and the Fed are putting down with the whole "normal inflation" and CPI numbers etc.

Roughly one-quarter of Americans (29 percent) describe the economy as excellent (2 percent) or good (27 percent), while 69 percent describe it as not so good (35 percent) or poor (34 percent).

Quick reminder that we are at all time highs in the stock market and all time highs in property values yet 70% of the public is aware that the economy is not in great shape. I'm impressed with the general public's awareness of the federal reserve and current administration's manipulative bullshit, or maybe I should be unimpressed with their inability to hide it better. Should only get worse from here as I'm pretty sure I read Biden came out in support of Fed Chair Powell today and the hawk's are dropping like flies due to insider trading. EDIT: I should say insider trading reports, they all do insider trading...

Black americans are the most vaccine hesitant demographic, who are also overwhelmingly democrat voters. So that map does not at all demonstrate that southern states, therefor red states, are more vaccine hesitant. Also, at worst, 100 deaths per 100,000 is only a .1% death rate. Among the most vulnerable demographics. Many contagious diseases carry a higher death rate that we do nothing about. So lockdown measures that destroy local economies, still, make no sense.

You are looking for answers. You are looking for all the data you can find and all the evidence that shows that vaccines are more deadlier than the virus.

Because right now, if I just tell you what I think that there's a deadly coronavirus and that vaccines are out and they help a lot, maybe not as quite as much as we thought they did, especially with a variant now; every single bit of data fits that. Exactly. With old or different racial groups

But for me to believe your story, I have to believe in manipulated data. I have to look at poor quality studies that aren't peer reviewed. And I have to believe in a global giant conspiracy that spans a multitude of counties and institutions.

Do you see I have to believe in so much more stuff I don't have evidence for your viewpoint than for mine.

The thing with social media and 24-hour news channels is they program that stuff so that you only follow what you want to hear and it essentially becomes an echo chamber. Democrats aren't following conservative media. Yet to hit 70% there are a significant amount of democrats that think the government is doing a poor job on the economy right now. I'm also guessing democrat constituents may not be as in favor of some of these spending bills that they are trying to pass in Congress right now. Could be a blood bath come midterms.

70%+ support the upcoming bills. Only half of republicans disagreed with it.

So, thats a lot of people.

Sure beat the 8 trillion the republicans spent then ran away from in the past 4 years.

The funny thing is, we had the money already, but republicans gave it away to their friends and donors with tax breaks.
