America, the best country in the world and much better than Sweden which will be 100% muslim in five years because they grow faster on walrus meat than native swedes

America was founded by immigrants and celebrates its diversity, not like Sweden which actively antagonizes its immigrant population for no reason other than their skin color and religion

Those guys created an entire genre. Calling GiTS some anime is like calling Blade Runner or 2001 a space oddesy "just another sci-fi" movie.

Sure it's an anime. But it's an anime above all others in a genre of its own. Full of mature and intellectual themes. The last one was even more deep. Innocence.

The series stand alone complex blows away crappy shows like "24" or "Jericho" or "Star Trek" or just about any other crime drama/post modern reality bull shit.

Star Trek has some decent episodes not withstanding. But as a whole the series is pretty silly.
