Just one google caption off the top from googling xegony inner circle:

"Shards of Avalon / Ook Ook, Inner Circle, Illuminati Sancti and the Korean guild that would always take trak if the server updates were finshed at 5am [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Hope this project is finished soon I cannot wait.."

Google is your friend.

I don't expect there to ever not be one guild taking most of the raid mobs. What would be nice is to have them somewhat spread throughout the week, and throughout different time zones.

It is proven that no variance FFA will turn into one guild taking over, and never changing due to the fact that it is so easily cock blocked.

I don't reference live, or classic proof and dig through posts of an era that has no relevance to today, I just look to blue and see the success it has in its competitive end game, and the complete lack of population, competing guilds, boring and stagnant state of red99 for my proof.

I know Elderan is personally invested in non variance farming all raid mobs in two days and then leaving an empty server - but anyone from the outside looking at this box cannot not say it has been a gigantic failure to both attract new players, and retain the players it attracts.

If the ruleset stays the same, and EQmac see how end-game plays out here (I have seen it from Nihi point of view, and any competitors point of view) they will soon join the same cycle since release. a) join Nihi, b) quit c) be a non-factor like myself and shout about how this sucks.

I don't know if a small variance would be classic or not, I seem to remember a +/- 12 or some shit, I could be wrong - but having a small variance would spread raid mobs throughout the week, and actually promote a populated norrath.

Peace out nerds - and if you think I care about taking anything away from Nihi, I have nothing against anyone in Nihi personally, I just think the box is a failure with huge potential.

Well with non variance Nihilum gets every mob they want and every other mob to cock block the rest of the server because it is easy so why not. This way Nihilum will at least have to work to dick over the rest of the guilds.

Nihilum raids an average of 25 hours a week currently.

I think that is already a big time investment.

I hear loot is just direct deposited into Nihilums guild bank when raid mobs spawn.

No need to log on bro.

How much of that is Ixiblat and other easy epics fights that no one cares about because they are spawned or 24 hour repops?

Also,

On live they had patches days. This prevented guilds from being able to lock down all the content because they simply couldn't be at all 15 mobs at the same time. Saying one guild could take 95% of all mobs on live is one of the most stupid things I have ever heard. I'm not saying it isn't impossible, but I'm sure over 100 servers that this was not the case on 95% of them.

In this link u show them giving up 5 out of 17 targets (50%?), ones which no doubt they couldn't care less about. 100% of the important targets down.

thx for making my point tho
