Where are all the young-lawyers arguing that paying for early access is paying for access to SOE/Verant intellectual property which is one of the main reasons these servers are only allowed to operate on a purely donation basis for server funding and such.

not a very good parallel... one is very much not classic and goes against everything we fight for on this server and the other is just granting mild privileges for supporting a game.

If I heard correctly they will be trade-able, that being said if you pay 50k for an hour and a half of bonus exp... then I have some exp pots to sell you =)

They'd be fairly unique, I'd probably sell mine and put it towards something for my rogue. People overestimate the fact that you're just getting from Point A - Point B ...all of 30 minutes quicker.

Again you can already pay for XP by joining Chardok AOE.

Seriously though, this game was announced earlier this month. It's officially in the "Twitter hype" stage of development. I don't know all of the details of any pay2win policy coming to P99 (I haven't watched the stream), but implementing such in-game advantages for RL money seems like a poor move. But hey, it's not my server.

Here's to hoping it will be more than just a Vanguard-esque flop 9 years down the road.
