Does Brad realize, we few P99's, are the only ones who care about this Pantheon pipe-dream? Frankly I am surprised he has raised as much as he has so far. I'm not a hater, just sayin...

brad has a resume of falling short on promises, selling out, ruining good games, and making bad games for the last 13 years would not even donate a dollar

But who is he going to sell out to this time? He's making a game for a niche? You think he's going to use this money and try to go WoW clone on this? Sounds like a great way to never get an expansion out of us.
Understand he had corporate overlords/marketing "geniuses" and was rolling his eyes at some of the shit that went in as much as us I'm sure.

Brad was already out of the loop and those model upgrades were outsourced from Japan, N Korea, China. Indonesia.
Sony by then had it's draconic claws deeply imbedded in Brad's IP. Such is life. The empire marches on.

On another note, if Verant hadn't been in Sony's corporate HQ and they didn't get the funding from Sony they needed EQ would have never existed at all.

Part of the fail, was poor team leadership and bad designers/artists which should have been killed dead or never hired on by upper management. But I blame corporate HR for that too. Then again that's just speculation. But it is what it looks like.
A lot of the novice/amateur level design in old EQ is 100x better than the shit trained monkeys could crank out later.
