The goalie looked like he thought it was going almost just at him, maybe to his right a little because didn't he jerk back to try and save it? I only got a glimpse of the replay, I was on lunch break and managed to catch the game winning goal just before I left the pub so I could def be wrong.

Football and soccer are quite similar.

In football, guys knock each other to the ground with the force of a Cooper Mini to the chest. Sometimes, the guys get injured and lay on the ground for a bit and look like they're in a lot of pain.
