We didn't make em, but it was borderline Europa prime time (4PM CST is 10 PM GMT, 11 PM most of western/central Europe) so they gave it a shot.

Yeah I'm calling BS on "giving" Europa a shot. They were spooked into a rushed attempt, hence FTE + CoTH reinforcements. That's how TMO and IB raid. The fact that Europa even tried to pull that off is admirable, but that's just fucked up that those horrible tactics are what EQ is in Class R now. WTG BDA. You are disregarding the other half of the equation - both sides of the table were far apart on discussions. Paint broader strokes, though....

...but spot on with the assessment - it's not always who gets FTE first, it's who's actually prepped FOR that FTE, and they jumped the gun. I wasn't even there, but it sounds like it was a close race on deployment and had they had a few more people down before pulling the trigger, they probably would have had it.
