if only you people knew how much fun it was to have fandango as a pal youd understand so much more about the universe.
God I love Fandango. Fun times in Seb.

Sometimes I feel like the loves only a one way street. O well I got logs of gibberish to decipher from the man himself. Be back in 4 days

This post is simply made to inform the server what kind of people you are dealing with. And if there happens to be some reputable people in Empire, I would like you to know what is going on under the <Empire> umbrella.

So last night I'm out in EW and I decide to go through the 2nd coldain ring quest. (This is an escort portion of the quest where you keep a dwarf safe through his travels). At this end of the escort a special kodiak spawns with your quest piece. So I have the dwarf on the hill for the final spawn and Fandango kills the dwarf, stopping me from completing the quest. He hasn't done anything wrong from a PNP stand point. He does, however, seem to be unintelligent about how the quest works. Here is our quick discussion:

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

So now we fast forward later into the night. I return to check on the 2nd ring quest mob, who is not yet spawned. But to my delight I find Fandango. I begin to attack him and he engages me in tells making a proposal. I stop attacking him and decide to hear him out. Again, he made me a proposal. I did not ask him to do so. It was completely his brain child. So he proposes that we do a random, and the winner gets to do the 2nd ring quest uncontested. More than anything I thought that a /random would make things interesting. He then thought he could offer me plat to allow him to walk through the quest but we decided to stick with the random. I expanded my chat box and captured most of our dialogue;

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Notice at the end he tells me congrats. He is aware of the deal that he proposed and concedes that I won.

So now I repeat the 2nd ring quest escort. While doing the quest he requests that I send him a tell when I'm done so that he can get it the next time around, and I told him that I would. Again I get the quest dwarf to the final hill to complete the quest. Fandango is awaiting our arrival. I assumed he was there to cheer me on, I know he thinks the world of me. He did just make up his own terms for which I agreed to and won in a fair way. This time he isn't a complete idiot because he actually lets the dwarf go far enough for the final kodiak to spawn. A very complex mental judgement call which he had several hours to contemplate this time.... The Rabid Kodiak spawns and he immediately engages and goes on to kill steal the mob and loot the quest piece. He is very difficult to see in this screen shot because he has his AoN on, so no nameplate and is directly in backstabbing position. You can barely make our his skeleton head right behind the kodiak, didn't think to take multiple pictures at the time:

At this point one might think there may have been something that had happened.

- Maybe several hours passed since our agreement? Nope, the dwarf was up at the time of our /random 100 and I ran directly there and began the quest.
- Maybe I broke the agreement by chasing him down and attacking him after the agreement or during the quest? Nope, I just started the quest and never attacked a single PC.

I know what everyone is expecting now. The next picture will be Fandango apologizing for what he did, offering some type of severance to own up for being such a low piece of scum. Well my friends, you are wrong!

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

He isn't upset in any way. He is fully aware of the deal that HE PROPOSED. Lets go ahead and clear the air for posts to come that may and try to throw in server rules into the equation.

*I am not accusing Fandango of breaking server rules.*

I am simply demonstrating what a lousy sack of trash he is, on a personal level. What kind of person creates a proposal for something and then completely backs out on their word? Well Fandango does. He is not man.

-So for those of you out there that are not sure what type of people you wish to surround yourselves with, this is what you will find if you choose Empire.

-For those of you in Empire who are actually people of moral character and dignity, this is who you have to work with as your teammate. I want to make sure you know who you are dealing with. They may or may not have your best interest in mind.

-For the rest of the sever here is a little more fuel for the fire.

In my conclusion, Fandango is a liar. To me, my reputation and my dignity far outweighs any other driving factor. I think any real man in this world would could relate to this sentiment. This is a person of low character. I hope Empire enjoys their quest for pixel domination with people like Fandango.

Reputation matters.
True that.

Agreeing to work together on a mob and then backing out of the agreement is definitely bad form. This is still true on Red99. Fandango is definitely in the wrong.

At the same time, one should never trust an unknown player or any member of an opposing guild. You can rely only on your guildmates or friends with whom you've already built trust. Maybe as a member of a small, close-knit guild like Slosh, Drum hasn't yet come to expect most other players to be cutthroat and untrustworthy.

Also, Drum, have you not been on a lot lately? Fandango makes no secret of his low inTegrity. He spams OOC with ravings for hours at a time, barely toes the line of the PnP, and has been known to ask lower-level players to /duel him so he can OT hammer off of them - only to switch to his weapons and kill them. I'm hoping everyone knows by now not to trust Fandango. That said, this doesn't make it ok for Fandango to continue to screw people over. People will troll this thread and try to back Fandango up, but everyone knows who the toxic persona is in this story. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Smedy stripped multiple accounts, calls Fandango a scumbag.

Wizards don't count. Nuke+nuke+gate. Anyone can kill with a wizard, let's be real brah. I went 18-0 on a druid and got bored of how easy it was, can hardly imagine what its like on a wiz.

Nuke+nuke+gate
