However, this didn't stop him from being downright socially awkward at times. His try-hard overly "big man" body language, invading peoples personal space without proper social cues were some clues... And sometimes when he was telling a "cool" story, he would not take the setting/audience into account, nor be able to read the audiences energy during the story and know when they were losing interest and when to wrap it up and stop. He eventually moved to NY and was exposed to the "glamorous" gay bar scene of Midtown Manhattan. And to this day, he is why I am skeptical of the "gay wasn't a choice for me" agenda propaganda. He had a girlfriend he fucked until the blue sheets were dyed white over two semesters. He idolized Italian mafiosos and Italian cultural values. He was an ex-football player who was a little maladjusted, but never expressed any gay tendencies and was more homophobic than anything else. Fast-forward to Senior year of college..Has gay college friends take him to gay bars. The notorious Manhattan gay bar scene, where your ego is stroked and being young and in shape makes you a god among men. Suddenly he finds himself getting something he never got from even the women who liked him: Attention. And his autistic brain just couldn't get the fuck over it, it was all he talked about, he was overnight OBSESSED with how much fun he was having in Manhattan at the gay bars. I cut him off after 8 years of friendship. I'm not sure if he ended up being gay or not, I didn't care to find out and he didn't take a hint that it was something I wasn't looking to be solicited on. He was trying to explain how great it was and fun all the time, if he just kept it to himself like a cool and normal person we'd still be in touch. Point is even the most cool and normal Aspie will eventually show some type of neurodevelopmental behavioral problem. Don't invest any time into them. I don't care if you didn't read any of that.

![]() I read it all buddy. And I agree, you just can't hide this type of issue. The only solution for such a person is to refrain from exposing too much of himself to strangers who might be less than understanding, for example by pasting a million images from 2006 he saved off of 9gag last week to elf simulator forums. Unfortunately people with issues like that are unlikely to possess the self-awareness to take this advice.

The irony was disgustingly bitter, here's this guy trying so hard to impress other people (both men and women), thinking hes the man and throwing his pompous fat ass all over this party we were at as people stared at him mouth-agape at the socially awkward carnage. I remember these 2 girls wincing as they, shyly and painfully, remarked quietly to me "Your friend, he's really...intense". Poor girls had never been exposed to an aspie sperglord before, and thought he was just "very intense". How sweet, naive, and cute of them, right? Still melts my heart lol... I feigned a casual disinterest and nodded knowingly. Then said "Yes, he takes himself pretty seriously... lol [You must be logged in to view images. These guys need to stay on elfsim. I mean people don't go to work, pay their taxes, and buy a few drinks to feel bizarre inappropriate emotions on the weekend and be at the mercy of some walking sperg-bomb's latest internet idea of what normal is.

This is an excellent twist. The Aspie was our narrator the entire time.
