Swish is the smart one here. He's not the one who got smited. The AoE nubs fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Pras. One would think its easy enough to go kill mobs elsewhere and get the bonus XP and have fun but the problem is the AoE nubs have been AoEing and poopsocking/buffing for DKP so much they can't even play the damn game. Also, their "easy money" fucks the economy and especially those who actually hunt for their plat/gear. The level of P99 asshattery has reached unprecedented heights. GG everybody, keep it up

Morbo is always the voice of reason! Totally agree.

Every exp weekend people have been forcibly unable to enjoy chardok as it was designed. The AoE PLing groups have been disrupting that zone time and time again.
I'm glad to see there was finally some attention given to this problem. For what ever reason, It was needed badly. I hope this sends a message to people that it is not okay to break rules just because people have done it in the past and gotten away with it.

It wasn't just for the laughs. It was taking a stand against what MANY of us consider a game ruining institution, and I can only hope this inspires other people to realize that simply because Chardok AE is a thing it does not stop them from experiencing the zone the way it was intended.

After being rezzed by Awakened at the end of the night I made just over a yellow of 51. I think it would have been more if we weren't trained on at the start and that was the only thing that slowed us down.
I think the AOE group attracts the worst of people, unwilling to compromise or share for whatever reason. I'm still not sure why people spend hours per day hoarding virtual currency, why do that (or buy levels) when you can have a nostalgia trip and enjoy some casual grouping with pals instead? A good point made about the revamp, arguably if you want to enjoy Chardok v1 as the original devs intended you should get in there before it changes and I encourage people to give it a go.

I saw this post,a few days ago and last night someone says to me "wow theres a group at bridge in Chardok and somebody doing AoE got banned"
I go "oh that much be Swish's XP group he posted about" Dude says "yep, exactly" Its comically pathetic how the predictability of the behvaior of the assholes on this server has transformed into reliable clairvoyance. Fuck Chardok AoE, fuck the assholes on this server that ruin it for the rest of us, and fuck the "raid" hegemony
