You could have easily ducked out of that tash if you wanted, or could have talked to the other guy after you saw Verina aggro before your tash landed. The "well we casted at almost the same time" argument isn't a good one, when it's obvious by these logs that she was clearly aggro'd before yours landed.

I'm not backtracking. When I cast tash, Verina was not aggro'd on anyone. In fact, the moment the other enchanter saw me run toward Verina to pull, that is when he sprung into action - just so he could try to stall until more of his guildies show up when it was clear we had the force in zone (because I actually had eyes on the spawn, put the time in to camp the mob) and were ready to engage. So please continue to side with the "good guys". If the community thinks the "good guys" are those who come in and vulture camps that people have been putting a lot of time into, then I guess I am in the wrong.

Rang. You're missing the point of my initial reply to this thread and making this into fake problem. This wasn't about you getting Verina. I don't care. Better yet, congratulations. This thread, though, was about FoH as a whole. You just happened to come along to this thread and found it pertain to you in some resemblance and now you're here being totally defensive.

But if you really want to make this a problem, as you said it yourself, you're making yourself to be hypocritical. I know the whole idea behind Verina and I know the effort it takes to camp her mainly because I've had 3 attempts at her already with this being the 4th. But if you really want to make this a problem, as you said it yourself, you're making yourself to be hypocritical. You said "Verina had been up for 15-20 min prior to you arriving so it was fair game for anyone who came in." So how is it that you're more entitled to Verina than I am? Are you making this judgement because you didn't see me in the zone right as she spawned? There is no point in instantly gratifying myself. I just wanted a shot. I thought I had that shot, but then I saw her running away. Also, how do you know I wasn't tracking her as well? Because I was. But you don't know that. You're too worried about yourself. There is also a hint of maliciousness in your pull because you're one-second late on your tash. One second, in EQ, allows you enough time to recognize an engage and to react to it. You reacted, but with your own tash. So, no, we didn't tash at the same time because Tash is a one-second cast time.

Verina is soloable, so he might not have been stalling for anyone. And this also isn't considered a camp..its one of two mobs in this game with the longest variance, and is highly contested, so FTE rules are king. You killed someone else's engage, plain and simple.

There is no FTE message on Verina. When I cast, the mob wasn't aggro'd. I'm not making the thread about me, just taking exception you calling out FOH over the Verina engage.

You keep saying this, but if the logs are true, then you started your cast after the tash landed...

Verina is not a raid target. I had a plan on soloing her down. And with your analysis that she wasn't aggro, prove to the community with those logs and let them speak for themselves.

I stand by my statement that when I started my cast she was non aggro. Further, there is no FTE message to provide clarity on the situation. When I get back from my business trip later this week I will examine my logs as well and still extend my offer to help you camp the mob and provide kill assistance if I was truly in the wrong.

Logs clearly show other guy had FTE it should've been obvious to you ....don't know if the other guy was good enough to solo it. Only thing I'm certain of is that if the guy who posted the logs didn't doctor them he clearly had FTE and the mob was ganked from him. I've heard of Sirken stripping the verina drop off of someones account for this and giving it to the other party.
