He's a true leader and while many of his decisions can be criticized, he brought stability to a country that was going through troubled times.

He is very popular in Russia and other countries after several terms.

Nobody's perfect, those little gimmicks were silly and I don't think he does them any more. He isn't liked because he can ride a horse topless, he's liked for what he represents - a leader who knows what he is doing.

Now don't take me wrong, there are many sides to Putin's regime which I dislike - the press isn't as free as it should be, corruption is widely spread up to the highest levels of power, the country is still very oil exports dependent.. But it could have been a lot worse.

Also I liked when he basically said "fuck you" to Turkey. I never liked turks.

Secular law doesn't "trump" divine law. Never has and never will (this is the foundation of the US Constitution). The problem is when secular governments uphold themselves above natural law which is instituted by God.

She only has 30% of the vote here.

Which shows how much of a dumpster this place is. That was already obvious, but good lord, seeing it spill out into reality is so sad.

I don't even like her (because she's essentially just a Republic on most issues, when you look at the systemic results of the policies she supports) but in comparison to Trump it's a world of difference. Like comparing the flu to brain cancer. At least she stands for a basic amount of humaneness and social change, even if she generally supports the toxic wealth chasing/adulation, income inequality, corporate control, and warfare that Republicans live by.

Trump is not promoting any truths and will not change anything whatsoever for the better (unless we're talking about the betterment of wealthy white people). The only thing he's somewhat right about is the rather broken nature of our current political system...but coming from him that doesn't matter at all. He wouldn't do shit to change it and doesn't care. He only uses that line of dialogue as a way to delude people into thinking that his inherited wealth means he is "above the broken system". Nope, not at all. Everything he's done in his life has just been about exploitation and using broken systems and making shit worse.
