I mean god damn, since I got it I been cleaning it gently, taking care of it, making sure it gets enough baby powder or baby oil. Bought it a few outfits from various video games. Has a roof over its head, its own closet to stay in.

Actually my pets also probably had a better life than most as well so all this isnt as shocking or revalationy as I thought.

I'm pretty callous. I really probably can't help any of you. It's wrong of me to think I can. And probably liable of me to offer.

That doesn't mean I don't want that to change. I had to turn down helping someone ironically just before I jumped back into this thread.

The universe seems merciless and pitiless in its torment. It's wrong as hell to shame others for not helping.

I don't shame people. I judge them by my own moral compass and callousness is pretty gross. It's violates a core value of mine and I get nasty quickly when I see it. See our last fight.

Also I'm guilty as fucking charged. It's not about morality at this point for me.

Callousness is fucking terrible. Right above being powerless.

Collect food from local supermarkets that is past its shelf life. Make sandwiches. Hand them out. Have human conversations, but also distribute info on where they can get help with social issues, finances, housing, addiction, whatever.

It's an easy hole to fall into and can become hard to escape.
