Favorite Zones: Sol A and Upper Guk. The pinnacle of MMO dungeon design IMO. Spent countless hours in each zone and still love it. If I took a 20 year break I would probably still remember how to navigate them.
Least Favorite: Probably Toxx forest for being such a terrible newbie zone | ||

What a great question. Warsliks Woods is probably my favorite zone. I have a lot of good memories from the giant fort and brute caves, kiting random drachnists and hoping for good loot, trying to get the named iksar bandit to spawn, learning to charm scaled wolves. I also really ended up enjoying Dalnir (though I hated it at first), learning to kill the various casters and eventually being able to xp to the very bottom.
Least favorite is probably The Overthere. I don't hate it, but it's so much of the same mobs with no exciting loot. I remember on Live, lots of people grouping up and xp'ing there. I did it a few times but found it boring. | ||

Favorite: Old Sebilis beating out Kurns Tower, City of Mist and Crystal Caverns.
Least favorite: Dalnir because mobs seem over conned and Kelethin... damn tree houses are confusing! | ||

Favorite(s): Unrest and LGuK - Unrest is a beast of a zone for that soloer type as you can easy and quickly go 12-40 here soloing away. LGuK I used to hate but once I learned it it became a favorite zone. Between Unrest and LGuK you can go 12-60 if you wanted too no problems.
Least Favorite: Burning Woods - big open zone with hidden entry/exits and sow buffed Sarnark Knights that wreck you if you can't root/pell there sows off, also ditto on Kedge Keep that zone was is a cluster fuck. | ||

Favorites - kedge, felt like this zone was all mine before epics and after epics the zone is still all mine mind the few druids and mages working on epics.
sol b- lots of camps for different levels, able to solo in there as a druid, racing for ragefires, naggys, or king tranix is some classic fun least favorites- sirens' grotto, I dont mind this zone for hunting in but I really hate that I have to go thru this zone to get to WW. This would be like if people have to zone thru kedge to get to MM. Interesting idea, bad execution ANY CITY THAT HAS MULTIPLE ZONES - Neriak, Freeport, Qeynos why are these cities split into so many sections when places like the Ocean of Tears are the size of two maps. Maybe having Freeport split between malita and paladins or Qeynos divided between the guards. But why is Neriak three zones? | ||

Favorite has gotta be Kithicor Forest. Was years before I had the balls to travel anywhere in that zone besides the wall. No other zone made me fear for life like it. Least favorite is Dagnor's Cauldron, I hate the 25 mile March from the BBM zone, I hate needing levitate to not take atleast half damage before I get to unrest and I hate how many times I've missed the Unrest entrance.

Great thread.
My all-time favorite is probably the Ocean of Tears. There was a morbidly masochistic pleasure that could be attained by camping the Ancient Cyclops there. It was also great fun to be a complete dick to others doing the same (especially as a Necromancer) by strategically utilizing the nearby Seafuries. Also, what life would be complete without at least one poopsock? Least favorite: Kedge Keep. I have an awful memory of soloing in that zone that I keep trying to subconsciously repress. I actually bound my old Mage underwater (on purpose) there and later passed out drunk at the keyboard (not on purpose). When I came to some hours later, the ghastly pile of corpses would have even made a necromancer throw up in their mouth a little bit. Oh, the horror.
