This is stupid shit. With a name like “hoe math” you can smell the incel-bias from a mile away, especially considering the 10/10 guys he’s referencing (who I assume he also despises because of their success with women) are the male versions of “hoes”…

…and that’s the crux of what this dude can’t understand. BOTH men and women have SOME of them who think they are more attractive or desirable than they really are. This is not exclusive to women

And, believe it or not, there’s a shitload, hundreds of thousands, of men and women who have pretty good self-awareness and a good idea of how their looks roughly compare. Sure women might be more picky on dating sites because they can because there’s fewer of them. And everyone becomes more picky the more populated the area they live

But there are tons of people, including my parents and multiple aunts and uncles of mine, who had an understanding of the type of person that would like them back. And they went for that person on a dating site. And they married that person. They didn’t waste years and years trying for 10/10 men or women, or even people significantly out of their league. Why didn’t they? Because they’re not overconfident cocky morons?

My armchair psychological assessment is that the narrator is unsuccessful with women. And the reason is he thinks that he is more attractive than he really is. And then he projects that idea onto the entire USA population and assumes everyone in the country has that problem

I’d love to see this dude interview an insecure, depressed person, male or female. And have him ask them what they rate their own looks as and what they think they could get or deserve in a partner. He’d be astounded when they say “I’m like a 1/10 [when really they are like a 5/10], and I deserve no one”

Oh no, then his entire system falls apart, doesn’t it? A woman who thinks she is much uglier than she is and doesn’t try for chads? This can’t be!!!

This being said, yes there is a “numbers game” strategy, and because it can be effective, I’m sure it subconsciously reinforces this guy’s world view

And that “numbers game” strategy is that, if a 6/10 looks dude went around outside bars and clubs and popular hangouts and asked out 500 women significantly out of his league (which would mean dozens per night out), eventually he would get a “yes”

That’s assuming this person can mentally handle the hundreds of rejections. And the female version would be a woman who either also gets rejected or only gets a one night stand-> ghost with a “Chad” guy. A string of these would also tend to wear negatively on their self-esteem, believe me

So is it an effective strategy? Sure, one of the most effective if you want to “punch above” your dating weight. Does it mean that all men and women behave or should behave in this way? No

idk Im not saying its one way or the other but, it seems like the more a society progresses (japan, usa for example) the people stop getting into relationships and stop having kids.

I could see a world where naggy women are gone.
