You know what? As far as all this goes?

People lie, tax audits don't.

It doesn't matter

bottom line to sony... will they make money by shutting down P99.. answer is no.

It's also the reason they don't go after RMT websites on Live... nothing in it for them.

Sure they will ban somebody if they get caught... but they don't go after the organization that enables the RMT heh.

Companies are instruments to make money. They won't do something unless they think it affects their bottom line in a positive way.

A not for profit server (with no marketing and small population) with the same issue as a for profit server is small fries to sony.

For sure you can... so lets say rogean and nilbog end up owing millions of dollars.

Most Americans make 100k dollars a year or less.

How long do you think it would take them to pay sony back on a repayment plan lol.

If they even decided to pay them... what is sony gonna do.. sue again for non-payment... waste even more money on lawyers.

It's all in all a losing prospect for sony.

Lets say I hope a situation like this never occurs.

Lets say the possibility of this happening is a little more real than you think.

Lets say I'd be really pissed off if it did happen.

88 mil sorry.

Looks like the cost against Sony would be.... 0 if they won?

Shall we stop all this? It's obvious the community needs to take a stand against RMT. It is very easy to do away with it. Personally I'd shut this shit down to protect the project until the rats turn in the other rats.

lets put it this other way; if someone is so dedicated to the game that they buy items for it, and they get banned, pretty high chance they'll buy the game and come back at some point

more $$$
