seriously shows his lack of discipline and u being in the army u should know the importance of grooming and shaving everyday

the purpose for shaving in the military was so we could maintain the seal on our gas mask. hence why prior to that being standard issue, beards and shit were acceptable. the hair on your head just as clean as the hair on your chin. as far as discipline, i dont see how shaving could instill or even remotely exercise discipline.

Who is to say whats professional? It's not distracting, it looks clean although I guess you cant tell from pics. Maybe if it was gandolf sized then maybe it would be distracting but his beard is pretty modest.
