I would pick Searyx for my team for sure. We would OWN the Lake of Ill Omen when it comes out.

Also as an unaffiliated person who really doesn't care about Nihilum or Holocaust I don't think anyone really won the server, I can't see a dead server as anything but an abject failure. I guess Holocaust did "lose" by leaving I guess.. I can't really speak to which guild won pvp battles and shit.

They didnt win shit except the numbers game. Which emptied the server. Cuz its a pain in the ass to regain lost xp when you pvp.

Insert "Im so good at pvp i never lose xp" line here

vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

"I dont lose xp cuz i zerg, so i dont give a fuck about noobs getting crushed by zergs and twinks" < basically thats what killed the server, Zerg PVEers and griefers

its funny though that Holo and FF were saying that xp loss in pvp was a non-factor, then they get owned by the nihi zerg and reroll on a server where there is no xp loss when you die in pvp.

Thats the only reason i can think of for the server switch. Everybody had 50s already, why start over? Its because they were getting xp loss crushed by Nihizerg.

^has no clue, came to nilly while we were almost done with fear just before hate. Never fought over naggy, never fought when lguk was still popular, never particpated in pvp in fear where both sides had 20+.

Both of the major guilds tried to "zerg", but 1 guild won. That guild remains, and has had 25 or less players on average for the better part of the last 4 months.

Was never really fair, the other guilds only fielded 25+ extremely rarely.

Reality was all the other guilds had a majority of "casual" players who could go days if not weeks without logging in.

Nihilum had a HUGE majority of the "active" players on the server, they could field 25+ pretty much anytime of the day where as for other guilds the planets had to align perfectly to get even 15+ on in a single night.

Hence the 4 day "Naggy" battles where the planets aligned and the casuals were there, but afterwards went back to them logging on semi-daily if at all.

Nihilum's biggest strength was having players who played constantly and having a raid leader who had done this EXACT content for 2 straight years on blue with no pvp to worry about. While everyone else had to figure out the nuances and what resists were what and how the server was tweaked which is really hard with constant pvp.

Casualness is going to lose to neckbearding every time this is proven in many, many online games.

Whether you acknowledge it or not, it was the reality of the situation.
