I drank a ton of this while living in Ulaanbaatar, the Russian's taught the Mongolians how to make Vodka before packing up and leaving.

This was typical, go to bar/night club, order a bottle of vodka and some little glasses, prey they have some Sprite and or Ice for the Westerners, was it down with a warm can of Hite "Korean" piss beer.

My first day there I was introduced to a Russian Chef and was given a tour of his Kitchens, we sat down, opened a bottle of Vodka that he served with a bowl of wild sour berries and slices of smoked fat "raw Bacon", as an honored guest I couldn't refuse.
