Not convinced that NI will ever be returned to RoI as I don't believe Dublin would want it. Sure it's been a useful stick to beat the UK with over Brexit but why would anyone want to acquire a territory with such a divided society? Northern Ireland costs the UK taxpayer a lot of money, and it would inevitably cost Dublin should there ever be a united Ireland - what would they gain?

England. As i understand it, probably improperly, Wales is more like a subkingdom of England, whereas Scotland is a separate kingdom that currently shares a monarch.

As I recall it was a Scottish King James that united the kingdoms of Scotland and England, whereas Wales was more sort of just territorially occupied?

Wales is a separate country, with its own identity and heritage, that shares a legal system with England. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own separate legal systems. The territorial conquest of Wales happened in the 13th century.

Don't even know why I read this thread. People are uneducated, they should read more history books.

When you have a population that is on the whole unread and uneducated, you end up with stuff like BREXIT, you end up with hard right international networks fooling people using digital propaganda techniques, you end up with antifascists being labelled fascists, you end up with climate change denial and eventually you'll end up with a pan-world hard right alliance whom will cull as their solution to the climate and ecological emergency.

People like that always have only surface level morality and justifications. Any time you dig deeper into their ideas , they don’t hold up under scrutiny. 100% of posters with those viewpoints that stick around end up resorting to personal attacks when they get flustered that mods won’t just delete opposing viewpoints for them.
