Finished reading book 1 of the Stormlight Archive. So far so good.

Went and saw the new James Bond. So far so bad.

Went for my first run in about 4 months since breaking my ankle. Only made it a couple kilometres before getting winded and my foot starting to hurt, but I'm happy none the less. Hopefully I can start ramping back up into a normal routine again.

Word of advice to all of you. Don't break your foot. It's totally not worth it.

Fake story. Broken ankle, then foot.
57yrs here, no broken bones (yet). Took your advice, before you even gave it.
Tempted to say i'm indestructible, but i don't like eating words.
Were you jogging when you broke your arm?

Nope, Skateboarding. Tried to air out of a 6 foot bowl on my surfskate and had an awkward fall. Board made it's way under my foot when i was running down the transition and that was all she wrote. Snapped both sides of my right ankle. Apparently i'm not as good a skateboarder as I once was. No 2024 olympic gold me for me [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I met this kid on univ of Alabama campus yesterday. Introduced myself and then convinced him to take a 20 dollar bill from me and stick it into the wipers of a car that was stopped at a crosswalk. It was a pretty cool experience. Pretty sure we both got high off it.

Was selected to represent my department in accepting an award for our agency at a business luncheon today

For the past few years I’ve also been the one to do most of our media interviews (think I’ve done about 4 so far). I get nervous being on camera like anyone else but I find the feeling exciting. I picture anxiety like lightning, racing down my body and energizing me, sharpening my thoughts [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

At least this time I’m getting paid to eat a free lunch on my off day. Can’t pass that up

Here goes nothin!
