I don't understand.....

Why does **EVERY TEAM** I get assigned to build 100% glass cannon?

It never fails. Literally every single game I play, not a single member of my team will buy a single defensive item all game.

Regardless of the map...champion their playing...champions they're playing AGAINST etc.

Then, usually, they AFK or leave around the 20 minute mark after spamming "Veigar/Brand/Morgana OP" due to having +0 health or magic resist.

God this game pisses me off so much sometimes.

The S2 prize pool is, I believe, the biggest in e-sports history (5 million), which is probably a fair indicator of how competitive it is. I don't think they run tic tac toe tournaments for that.

Were you one of the kids who "picked a side" with Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter 2, stubbornly refusing to play the other?

Fuck Mortal Kombat. o.0

On a side note, I was reading about Riot only skins. Have you seen anything that stands out yet ?

Gotta say...LOL and HON are both fun to play.

To me they're so different that comparing the 2 isn't really possible. They're polar opposites of the MOBA genre.

I first played HON when IT went free to play; all the shit talk it gets kept me from paying for it before then. I actually enjoyed and have been playing it since. I play LOL much more -- but playing HON seems to have definitely increased my overall LOL play.

I like the depth of the hero skills in HON. In this regard, LOL simply cannot compete. LOL was my 1st MOBA and I thought it was VERY complicated at first; yet learning HON was MORE complicated despite having now played a MOBA for over a year.

HON matches seem to be decided very quickly as well. This I definitely do NOT like. In LOL at least you have a CHANCE at a comeback even at the 30 minute mark when the score is 40-20 and you're down 3 towers. I've seen teams come back from even WORSE than that too - something I've yet to see in HON.

I wish RIOT would release more champs like xerath, leblanc, blitz, corki etc. with higher skill caps.

These are the champs I find most fun to play. Bought Blitz day 1 of the 3150ip decrease.

SEARYX - I'm curious. Do you have access to information such as the number of who people bought Anivia / Blitz on day 1 of the IP decrease?

HON is a good game. DOTA2 is going to be good, too. You don't have to hate one game just because you like another one. If anything, gamers should be happy that large studios are now capitalizing on this new genre/subgenre - not to mention adopting F2P business models where they make money off skins and don't smack you with a $50 box fee up front. It's great for gamers.

I could probably get those numbers regarding sales. But I could not share them, for obvious reasons.

Riot-only skins? I haven't heard about that.

I have all of the skins, but there are no "invisible" sekret ones or anything like that. I think the Medieval Twitch one is pretty rare, PAX Cardmaster definitely is, Grey Warwick / Human Ryze, and a few others.
