But i stand corected, im the only asshole not getting inflation matching cost of living raises.

This means conservatives have nothing to complain about, inflation is a mute point and they can shaddap about it, because you're getting the wage increases no problem.

Great job bozo's HORZA WON this debate. Raise the debt ceiling, the democrats are right.
Nah I think thats more than normal. This CNBC article has real wages up at 3.6% increase.

I don’t think I got a cost of living raise, market analysis adjustments have been going on the entire 14ish years I been here.
Sounds like you're getting your yearly cost of living increase (thats what your company calls market adjustment) but at 6% at least your company is not being cheap with you so, honestly it sounds like things are all going to work out.

I mean the fact you got that months ago is even more promising.

I'm frustrated because i was hoping for an economic collapse but if salary earners are getting inflation matching cost of living increases then things are going to probably work out just fine.

I was sure salary earners were going to be left behind. Especially with all the working from home. It's hard to justify cost of living increases while you know you just cut it hugely by cutting out commuting.

Other positions got less though, so I don’t think it has anything to do with cost of living raises

I’ve been at the same place so long I don’t know if other jobs in other fields do market analysis adjustments yearly. It seems like a smart strategy to retain employees since the most common reason for leaving somewhere is finding a better paying same position elsewhere

No chance real wages keep up with inflation over the next year or two. There is still hope for economic collapse.

In healthcare you should be making at least 10% of what you are billing imo. (Edit: my previous employer had other opinions but from what I gathered that was industry standard)

Hmm yknow I have no idea what I bill. I have to do what’s called a Contact Note (in addition to a full medical chart) in NextGen software, and pick a billing code. Gets billed to the state, but I dunno the amount, just the name of the code

Yeah I quit the year after I found out how much I billed in a year. But if your stuff gets billed to the state then there is probably a set price that gets negotiated each year. You can ask your billing department I assume, or you can buy this expensive book and look up the CPT code (I assume you just bill by time) for your region and find out what you are billing vs your peers in the area. PMIC book
