It's definitely a different flavour from domestic pig, but it's pure decent if you do it right.

Nice, I've seen hunting shows where guys run them down with dogs then slit their throats or stab them in the heart. Is that what you did or did ya shoot it?

We use dogs to track and corner them, then we wrestle them to the ground, pin them, and stab them in the heart.

Generally. Once you've stabbed them in the heart, they tend to go quickly. Some do struggle and drag it out, though. In any case, it's far more humane than what they'd get at the slaughterhouse. I was raised on a pig farm, and I'm certain any of them would've rather had the life and death these lot get.

have you ever looked into not wrestling and/or stabbing pigs on a regular basis?
