cucurbitaceae

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3722788/

"Our present finding indicated that the plant protein inhibited not only H1N1 and H3N2 but also H5N1 subtype. As a result of the broad spectrum of its antiviral activity, this edible plant can be developed as an effective therapeutic agent against various and even new emerging subtypes of influenza A."

This isn't looking good for the "experts" attempting to slam me on this one.

Can we call it, yet? I mean, this wild cucumber in Florida kills H1N1 and a number of other Influenza Type A strains that have resulted in "Pandemics" in the past decade for crying out loud.

The amount of fucking stupid in this post it's going to be my new signature.

By your theory if China and Italy at the "only 3 cases" mark had instead of doing what they did, packed thousands of people together who dont normally show signs of infection (from the CDC) in a heavily populated region of the most vulnerable in the entire country when your top scientists are saying a vaccine is a year+ out and any treatment regiment is months out from knowing if its effective. And EVEN if it is, you still need the ICU beds for the patients to apply that regiment ffs which Florida will not have.

I mean in a way, its natural removing the weak and stupid from the herd. So good? I guess lol

There is SOMETHING that makes people more susceptible. Consider this: a family got infected, six were tested positive, and now four have died.

Anti-Viral, and Anti-Tumor Properties of Cucurbits

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11906182

Cucurbits in West Africa used to kill Viral and gastrointestinal illnesses

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15588650

Floridian Cucurbits demonstrating strong antiviral properties

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3722788/

12 page Cucurbitaneae study demonstrating the extensive pharmacological efficacy of plants under this family:

http://impactfactor.org/PDF/IJPPR/8/...,Article19.pdf

anti-HIV, anxiolytic, antipyretic, anti-diarrhoeal, carminative, antioxidant, antidiabetic, antibacterial, laxative, anthelmintic, antitubercular, purgative and hepatoprotective. It is also
employed as an abortificient, diuretic, and cardiotonic
agent. They also show strong anti-inflammatory,
antitussive, cytotoxic, and expectorant properties. Apart
from biological profile Cucurbitaceae family posses many
therapeutically important chemical constituents which
required further research to explore the medicinal value
of this species. Seeds or fruit parts of some cucurbits
are reported to possess purgative, emetic and
antihelmintic properties due to the secondary
metabolite cucurbitacin content. A number of
compounds of this group have been investigated for
their cytotoxic, hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory and
cardiovascular effects. Nevertheless some of the plants in
this family need further study so that new biomolecules
can be isolated and identified and ultimately one can
develop new phytopharmaceutical agents which may be
used as such or as a lead compound for synthesis and
modification. The research and development of herbal
formulation is highly relevant as it may be less toxic and
can be used for mono or co-therapy with other drugs. The
ultimate aim of all medical and pharmacological research
is to cure diseases to maintain the health of the individual
and to improve the quality of life.

Hey dummy, your linking shit you dont even understand. I mean it's in your link
"Nevertheless, whether the anti-influenza activity of the protein from M. charantia is associated with the action of RIP or not, further investigation is needed."

That means no double blind human testing was done because they couldn't even prove it enough for animal testing approval. AKA works in the lab, sorta, but nowhere else.

And because you clearly dont know fucking up from down let's clear up a few things.

- the top virologist laid out the timeline for any type of vaccine live in front of Congress: a year plus and thats breaking records.
- A vaccine does not make you immune to something just allows your body to generate antibodies, you can still get it (rarely)
-THE DANGER OF COV-19 Is not the disease itself, There are already a couple good drug regiments that are looking to be effective, It's the simple fact that if everybody (Florida) gets sick at once you can not treat everybody at the same time. People are going to die because they simply don't have the medical beds, personal, ppe, and medication that's showing to be effective.

Edit- And in case you're wondering, you die from ARDS. Inflammation caused by the virus doesn't allow your lungs to oxygenate your blood. Hence the ICU beds and some type of ventilation is required. Its literally a simple math problem.
