Can't GMs dig thru logs? I aint the type of player that /logs when I log on.

if you provide your own /logs. no. those can be altered, see merkk's spell fizzles =p

(if you didnt know zeelot posted a pic or logs or something i don't know and in the text it read Merkk's spell fizzles, well merkk is a monk. it got debunked pretty quick from what i hear.)

So essentially, /logs is not good enough.

I just always thought GMs could dig thru logs and investigate. But I guess its much harder than it sounds.

Logs or screens no. Both can be altered before being sent in for review.

Fraps can't be altered without it being noticeable, afiak...

and they can dig through logs but there are few gm's and they all volunteer, to expect them to go through logs everytime someone says something happened is crazy. They are busy enough when people provide mountains of evidence for them and it still might not be enough.

Fraps could be faked if you have 2 players who were playing on another server =p. Nothing is valid IMO except server logs. That is something that can't be altered.

Yup. Its all good, I just wanted to know if dispelling other players mobs was legal or not. But Zade responded so thats all I care about. I knew from the gecko that no punishment would be handed down. Its just how things work on this server at times.

very true, but in most disputes where gm's are involved there are multiple people running around doing many things and since some of those people have fraps yours would have to match theres. if they have 3 fraps showing you(example) ksing and training and yours shows they werent engaged and you didnt train. well..
