I don't think you can get a job in todays society without pissing clean. With urine, probably means a month off any kind of drugs cleaning your system of shit with lots of water, exercise, and a good diet.

Clever people probably get a prescription for the kind of drugs they want to take so they can have a medical reason for coming up positive.

Regrettably doesn't work with weed. Jobs won't hire you even if you have MMJ card.

Question: How shitty does your life have to be to want to habitually use substances that will only end up fucking you up even more so in the end?

As shitty as anyone else's. Susvain might just be more aware of how shitty it is.

Honestly though if given the choice. I would not do drugs to pacify my self.

Some people find drugs as entertaining as any of our other habits. Some people would even probably be able to more responsibly use drugs recreationaly if it weren't for our system of drug laws. And the big money in it.

But I feel like Susvain is the type of person who self medicates because they do not enjoy reality. Have not learned to enjoy life despite that self awareness of how shitty it is.

Drugs are great at keeping those people perpetually in control. Or fighting something. Rather than growing and understanding themselves.

I dont know exactly why i still do it. But the first time i took pain pills was so i could fuck for 3hours straight. My friend told me how it was making him last for hours with his girl, and after you give a girl solid dick for hours you dont wanna go back to doing it sober and not be able to give her the same satisfaction. Then my group of best friends 3-4 of us all got introduced to the needle by my friend i made at college who was a normal good kid at the time who just took percs but was curious about needle. So we all did it and id do it once a month or so the first year (2010) and then come 2011 ita become more important [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

You can't? I thought pretty much any job that pays over $20 an hour doesn't drug test.

Ok, you got me there. Normally those jobs are either self employment, or highly skilled, and whats on your resume matters much more than whether your going to steal from teh company/stand infront of a forklift on dope.

Most of those positions aren't available to the druggy scrubs because they self select out of the ability to do those jobs.

Entry level jobs, large corporations all like to drugs screen though, and I bet they can right off the screening service under some kind of tax/benifit.

So Walmart, McDonalds, Lowes, Home Depot, Wendies, Radio Shack... they all I'm sure screen.

Linux System Administrator for Novell Corporate, or staffing agencies probably don't screen. But I've noticed those highly skilled tech jobs are all, contract, (self employed, meaning you right up a contract/project and do the work) or temp agency (meaning Novell sells product and you go set it up and configure it).

Some how I think the majority of us are in the former based on my experiences here.

So yes, there's plenty of opportunity. But you have to be skilled and in the industry currently working to seize on it. It's extremely fustrating for someone like me who is really overquallified for just about everything, but since the big corps own all the real estate/markets. There is no way for me to go into business for myself without some luck and a solid business plan, investors. No one invests in startup hardware stores or burger joints. Those are all self funded businesses.

When I worked at McDs long ago I never had to drug test. I even overheard my managers talking about how they couldn't drug test cause they'd lose over half the crew.

I work for a Fortune 500 chemical company where everyone makes well over 20 dollars an hour, most over 30$. Some are salaried, with upper positions making 6 figures. EVERYONE gets drug tested. From the plant manager to the janitor. Pre-employment, random testing, reasonable suspicion, and any type of accident or long term illness requires testing before returning to work.

Not long ago a supervisor was out for a couple months for achilles heel surgery and he refused to test when he came back, so they fired him.

Corporate has us thinking this is the norm in the industry. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
