No bazaar, please. Like, ever. There are plenty of tools such as the EC tunnel forum and ahungry.com. You can't read fast enough? Too bad, read more and you'll read faster. Can't click fast enough? The wiki shows item stats, as does ahungry. Bazaar is a terrible idea and so is an EC bazaar. You're complaining about people undercutting, but what do you think will happen if I can search to see all the prices of the items I'm selling before I sell them? I'll undercut you by 1pp and make the sale, as will everyone else, until 10k worth of items today is worth 2k in a week. A 30 second or 1 minute delay on auctions is a decent enough idea, but it's also not all good. I never go to EC with less than a dozen items to sell, and that never fits into one trade post.

Limit auction channel to /say range, people will soread out more in the tunnel and you can walk around hearing everyones spel. maybe people selling 50+ gear stay to one area and those selling stuff meadured in pp not kpp the other side.
Would feel more like a real bazaar too

/say range etc.... doesn't solve the spam problem if you're wanting to read the auctions.
Bazaar or no bazaar, something needs to be done because the rate some people spam isn't fair on other auctioneers and encourages faster spam generally. If the server continues to grow, it'll get worse... and it's a matter of time before more threads on this topic come up. Maybe the bazaar isn't the best solution, but fire a warning shot at those who spam too quickly.

Perhaps I'm odd, but I enjoyed Bazaar AND old school EC. They both have their advantages. That said, I'd hate to see Bazaar here on p99 the way it was on Live. When I signed up the thing I wanted to see/do/experience the most was classic EC. I was disappointed to see item links, but hey.
I wouldn't mind seeing Nexus / Bazaar opened up as zones (minus the mounts, for the love of god...) but without /trader mode. It'd be nice to have a bank in the main server auction zone, lighten the auction spam, and get rid of coin weight. Those are things I would buy that convenience outweighs "classic" gameplay. Or heck, just have the spires take you directly to Bazaar and leave Nexus out of the picture. Either way I agree this debate is better saved for the custom content era of the server.

As much as I hated the Nexus, Luclin had some good early and mid level zones. Netherbian was great hunting. I woulda just rather had playable Kerra instead of the Vah Shir /OT
I still think /say would work to combat spam as long as people spread out like a department store. My biggest problem shopping is the great amount of 1kpp+ gear being spammed making it hard to find the 200pp items. It would be like splitting the auction channel into two or three channels. Spam is not as bad when it is just same ten people repeatedly doing it on one side, and a different ten people on the other side.

why don't everyone agrees on opening a second trade spot? i read in the past that some people also did business at kelethin, although it's off limits to some KOS chars. but if you have two grand markets, maybe even prices will differ. It would be interesting seeing how pricing by the demand/supply rule works on two different markets. just sayin'
