There was talk about putting item loot in a while back, but it was considered unfair to do it after launch night as the playing field wasn't even.

I had fun on red for awhile with a couple friends before they stopped playing p1999. I'll say three things:

1) My experience on red was that anyone higher level than me was awesome and helpful totally cool dudes (maybe one or two exceptions). Anyone my level was twinked and scowling at me ready to attack.

2) lack of population, plus the general KOS everything mentality, meant grouping never happened for me outside of my two friends.

3) I learned a lot and got to experience itemquest the likes of which are not possible on Blue. Any drop I sought was uncamped, and it was pretty cool. I learned a lot.
