The goal is to make it better.

I can see what they were trying to do. But some cases like when a nuke has a stun component, its getting a double bonus to land.

The special spells should not get extra bonuses, that are cummulative. Looks like part of the problem.

It would actually be nice if they were separated...like you can resist the stun portion but still take damage.

I remember people saying that spells with multiple effects of different types would suffer multiple resist checks making the entire spell more likely to resist outright.

Thats how its supposed to be. Spells that dmg/stun dot/push etc were easier to resist.

A double resist check should make the spell harder to resist when it has two components to it.
