I don't understand why he hasn't just eaten the ban already. we get suspended for weeks for chatting with our pals in ooc, he makes racist comments to staff and gets a "Gosh buddy you shouldn't say that"

So you banned his forum account for the 20th time yea i'm sure number 21 will teach um. I don't mean to tell the staff how to do their job by any means but at this point you guys are sending a very loud message that Empire gets away with way more than anyone else would be shown tolerance for saying.

Rettiwalk on his 84 forums account banned everytime for RL attacks, Gyno on his what 20th?

Chewie mouthed off to a GM once and was banned ingame, at what point do these guys suffer the same fate as everyone else here?

Hell i was forum banned for saying someone here was fat lol, literally all I said pretty huge difference there.

And I'm not bashing staff I'm just one of the few people saying out loud what everyone already talks about in TS and guildchats in every guild on the server. They are just too afraid to say it on forums. But I assure this is a huge issue everyone is talking about whether its real, tin foil hat etc something at this point needs to be done to address these concerns.

For me, its a matter of time available to look into all the new forum accounts. I cant investigate every single new forum account to see if it belongs to someone we've already banned, I simply do not have the time to do it, and I dont want to leave legitimate new players hanging by delaying their post because of a few bad apples. IP bans are useless due to proxies / cellphones / ISP dhcp etc etc.

There are a select few on here, and we know who they are, that recreate forum account after forum account after being banned, and frankly its pretty pathetic. They are welcome here if they clean up their act, but they dont - so they arent. So until then, they'll continue to waste their time and ours with their new forum accounts. When I do spot them, I have no problem banning them again. Some I catch before they even get their first post approved, others slip through for a few days - but eventually get banned because they have no self control / self filter / respect for other human beings. If it were up to me, I'd ban their in-game accounts too - but I don't have that access.

It is what it is.

P.S. I couldn't care less what guild forum posters are in, that does not sway my forum moderation in the slightest. I don't even play this game at this point, and I certainly do not care whos in what guild - especially on red. So there is 0 bias there from me.

I have a REALLY hard time believing you ban people who dodge forum account bans. I've petitioned a few people who do it and nothing happened. Should I just be messaging you instead?

You can, thats fine. I won't promise action on their accounts though just because its reported, but I'll look into it. If people are behaving on their new accounts, I often leave them alone (except for a select few that have gone above and beyond and are essentially banned on site regardless).
