The us government draws it only source of power through local police and military, their only tools of enforcement. Both of which are People, generally with hearts and brains....to some extent usually.

Seems like your scare quoting of "research" is aimed at me, yet your argument is a total nonsequitur. There is no fighting the inexorable growth of state power; so it is written. This is the patience and faith of the saints.
