Its been awhile since I've played, but these textures are awesome. One of the main reasons my friends won't play EQ is due to the out dated graphics. Great job on these textures and I really hope this project continues!

I am really Impressed with the work, they Look 100% better then before and keeping it classic at the same time; I am all for keeping the game classic the textures could always be redone for sure. SInce I can not have the option for Luclin textures I really enjoy and will use these once they come out as a whole. Awsome Job guys Keep it going

I've been following this a lot lately. Made a few stabs at it myself, although less than impressed with my results so far.

I used Adobe's Batch function to read in the entire global_chr.s3d, resize it up 400%, and save. Another batch would do Gaussian Blur 1.2 & Diffuse on them all to bring down the pixelation. But, from that point I haven't gotten a lot farther. Many of of the textures need some extra love, as I imagine you figured out [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
How does this turn out and how does it compare to Luclin's "Update Old World Textures" texture set, or did you complete these steps on the new textures? I'd like to make the world look significantly smoother if possible!

Update world Textures was for content zones and no races. Basically this is part #2 which was never done because Luclin came out with new models.
